Cast on 20 sts using red.

Cast on 7 sts using green.

Gather up on row ends tightly and fasten off.

Stalk

Cast on 3 sts using brown yarn. Make icord from 8 rows.

Cut yarn and thread tail through remaining sts and pull firmly.

Make up

Sew cast on and cast off edges together to form a tube.

Gather a thread through the end stitches from one side of tube, stuff firmly. Then gather up on row ends of another side, tightly and fasten off.

To get a depression effect on apple bring a thread from center of the bottom to the center of the top and bring it back through again, pulling the apple into a more flattened shape. Secure and hide yarn.

Sew on button in the centre the bottom part of the apple, add stalk on the top, sew green leaf.

Stokje

Zet in bruin 3 st. op. Maak een i-cord van 8 toeren.

Knip het draad af en haal het draad door alle overgebleven steken op de naald, trek

het draad stevig aan en hecht af.

In elkaar zetten:

Bevestig de opzetrand aan het afgekante gedeelte, voor het vormen van een koker.

Rimpel één kant van het werk in, trek het draad stevig aan, vul het werk stevig op.

Rimpel nu de andere kant van het werk in, trek het draad stevig aan en hecht af.

Om de gewenste vorm van een appel te krijgen, steekt u met de stopnaald door het

midden van de onderkant van de appel naar de bovenkant van de appel toe en weer

terug. Hierdoor krijgt de appel een iets plattere vorm. Trek het draad stevig aan,
