Knitting pattern for Advanced Knitters

If you use DK yarn (100 g = 300 m) you get a squirrel measuring 18 cm (7.1 inch) to tip of ears. All pieces of the toy are knitted flat.
MATERIALS:
Straight needles size US 2 ½ (3mm)
Yarn: DK / Light Worsted (8 ply =100g/300m) in red, white for body, blue/yellow, green for clothes
leftovers DK / Light Worsted (8 ply) in black.
Polyester stuffing
GAUGE: not important if you use the same weight yarn both for toy and clothes.
Pattern requires knowledge of knitting basics such as K, P, K2tog, M1 and simple finishing techniques.
